Yangon, 12 March 2019: The People’s Health Foundation (PHF), in collaboration with Ministry of Health and Sports, organized a half-day Briefing to the Parliamentarians from both Houses, at the meeting hall of Mingala Thiri Hotel, Nay Pyi Taw, to make briefing to the members of both Houses of Parliaments to increase the understanding of WHO FCTC, with a view to further strengthening national tobacco control legislation in Myanmar.

Senior Staff of the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Executive Members of the People’s Health Foundation provided the briefing on the subject as resource speakers. 

The briefing was attended by 50 members of the Parliaments from both houses.
