10 July 2026: News from PHF: Each year, World Health Organization (WHO) has honored the respective individuals and organizations from each of the six WHO Regions for their outstanding contributions to tobacco control. From WHO South-East Asia, out of FIVE Recipients, People’s Health Foundation of Myanmar received the prestigious 2026 WNTD Award, in May this year at the eve of World Health Assembly.
2026 WNTD Award has been handed over to the People’s Health Foundation, at a Ceremony held at WHO Representative’s Office, Shwetaunggyar Street, Yangon, on 10 July 2026. PHF President, Dr Than Sein and Executive Members joined the occasion.
